Safariland's Model 3085 is a tactical holster designed the Beretta M9 or 92F pistol with or without a light or LAM unit. Since there is no snap, the forward rotating hood allows for a smooth single motion draw and greater protection against attempted takeaways. It is also far less likely to release accidentally than conventional thumb break snaps. The 3085 is ambidextrous, utilizing the simple rotating hood that can be changed from right to left, and works with the Safariland MOLLE locking System (MLS). The STX finish protects the gun in scape, scratch and dent incidents. SafariLaminate protects the gun and the molded sight track and soft SafariSuede help protect the sights and the finish. The 3085 features a standard double leg strap and leg shroud with mounting holes for optional accessories. Special features of the 3085 are the detachable vertical leg strap, the double leg strap and the leg shroud, providing comfort and stability. The leg harness is lightweight and simple to operate.
